Safe as houses?

Safe as houses?

by M S Roys (22-Aug-2001)

Book Description

This Digest highlights the potential for accidents in the home and where this potential can be reduced by good design. The main locations and building features in the home where building-related accidents are likely to happen are considered. Design features that may reduce the likelihood of building-related accidents are presented as design checklists. Some of this guidance is based upon existing Building Regulations but it goes beyond the minimum recommendations associated with these regulations, to propose homes that are even safer.
