A tribunal of enquiry asked the Fire Research Station to investigate a fire at a discotheque in Dublin in which 48 young people died. The video illustrates the many FRS tests culminating in a simulation on a full-scale reconstruction of part of the club showing the rapidity with which the fire developed. (20 minutes).
