Most timber frame buildings in the UK are constructed from factory-assembled, open framed, sheathed panels of a size that can be manhandled into position on site. Some manufacturers, though, produce ?closed panels? where the insulation, services, vapour control layer, internal linings and possibly also joinery and cladding are applied in the factory.
