Failures: shrinkage-cracking and curling; crushing of screeds under flooring; reduced impact sound resistance; damp-staining of wall plaster

Defects: poor batching, mixing, compaction, curing; screed too thin or weak; bridging of floating screeds; insufficient drying out time; wet screed in contact with wall plaster
